The Baines River Camp is situated in South Luangwa National Park in the Lower Zambezi Valley in Zambia’s Southern Province. The camp is named after naturalist and explorer Thomas Baines, and reminiscent of early colonial explorer days. The area is rich in wildlife, and just across the river is Zimbabwe’s famous Mana Pools, which is also a world heritage site.
This is one of the few lodges that offers Safari Workshops where guests can engage about topics such as photography, fly fishing and bird watching.
