City & Safari Highlights

Day 1:

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be transferred by your private driver in a Mercedes Benz C class to your boutique style hotel called The Residence which is part of the Residence Portfolio. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to freshen up and relax after your flight. Dinner at leisure.  Your room will be located on the ground or 1^st floor and the leafy suburb of Houghton.  The property has a lot of activities on site including private dining at the hotel, tennis courts, spa and 3 swimming pools including 1 that is heated.

Day 2 and 5:

After a scrumptious breakfast, check out and collection by your driver for a private morning city tour for the cosmopolitan and busy city of Johannesburg and then you will be dropped off at the airport again for your flight around 1 pm to Cape Town for your 4 nights in this fabulous city on the coast of South Africa close to the tip of Africa.

Once at the Cape Town International Airport, you will be collected by your driver and transferred in a luxurious Land Rover Discovery to your hotel for the next 4 nights called Table Bay Hotel which is situated at the heart of the famous V&A Waterfront and all rooms overlook the harbour and/or Granger Bay at the Waterfront in Cape Town.

On day 4 you will enjoy a full day private Cape Winelands which will include all tastings, cellar tours and entrances and will be from 09h00 to 17h00.

There are lots of other activities and tours that can be suggested.

Day 6 and 7:

After breakfast, you will be collected in a luxury Landrover Discovery and transferred to the seaside town of Hermanus on the Indian Ocean side and is about 1 ½ hour drive away from Cape Town. We highly recommend this town due to it being known for whale watching. You will be transferred to a fantastic lodge called Grootbos situated in its own private nature reserve close to Hermanus.

Included in your activities is horse riding for both inexperienced and experienced riders through the reserve, guided walks including fynbos nature tours and Milkwood walks, nature, marine & coastal drives and walks including the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, De Kelders cliff walk, Klipgat Cave combined with seasonal land-based whale watching (July-December) and bird-watching.

Day 8 to 10:

After enjoying breakfast from the buffet, you will be collected for a luxury transfer again in a Landrover Discovery to Cape Town International Airport for your midday flight to Hoedspruit airport for the start of your safari. From the airport you will be collected by Camp Jabulani for our road transfer to this 5* elegant lodge.

After arrival and check in your safari adventure begins for 3 nights in this up-market lodge.

Included in your activities is The Elephant Experience (observing the herd in close proximity, learning more about their behaviour, their unique character traits, their incredible story and what it takes to take care of them. Much of this takes place while the elephants are in their natural environment, foraging in the bush, walking through the reserve or swimming at the waterhole), game drives in open safari vehicles, guided bush walks, accompanied by experienced game rangers. Also, a behind-the-scenes exclusive visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.

Day 11:

After enjoying your morning game activity and breakfast, you will be transferred by road back to Hoedspruit airport for the end of your trip.
