Accommodation
11 air-conditioned chalets mean just 25 guests maximum, allowing the lodge a good deal of intimacy and privacy. Each comfortable chalet has an en-suite bathroom with both a large bathtub and shower.
From your bed, you can watch elephant, kudu and even vervet monkeys move through the area, and due to the unfenced nature of the camp, a ranger will escort you between your room and the main camp during the evening.
All meals are prepared for you daily, with fresh, excellent dishes created by the lodge’s fantastic chef. Vegetarians and all other dietary preferences and requirements are easily and happily catered for at Inyati. Traditional braais are also enjoyed here, and snacks, tea, coffee, and sundowners are a regular part of game drives in the mornings and evenings.
Other conveniences at the lodge include a swimming pool, well-stocked wine cellar, and air-conditioned gym. The pool is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool-off in the afternoons, with views over the surrounding bush.
Activities
The main event at any game lodge is, of course, the safaris. Inyati has some of the best guides and trackers available, who will take you on game drives and walks through the bush, offering valuable information while keeping you constantly entertained. Look out for the Big 5 on the reserve, as well as giraffe, zebra, cheetah, nyala and many other antelope species. Birders will also have plenty to see in the Sabi area.
