Tanda Tula

Tanda Tula is a tented safari camp located in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve.  Tanda Tula is owner run and managed, and is also the oldest safari camp in the Timbavati.  Tanda Tula is also renowned as one of the most luxurious tented safari camps in South Africa and is in a  prime area for game viewing.

Tanda Tula has 12 luxury tents positioned on the Nhlaralumi riverbed. These tents are surrounded by thick riverine bush, making them completely private. Each tent has its private deck overlooking the riverbed furnished with loungers.  Tanda Tula also has a 1 Thatched Suite, which features a personal chef, private pool, dedicated game ranger, and viewing vehicle.

Dining

Early morning tea, coffee & rusks are brought right to your tent. A little bit later you will enjoy a Bush Breakfast and a sumptuous buffet lunch and afternoon tea. Dinners are served in a different location every night. Chef Ryan’s focus is on fresh and local produce. Chef Ryan even shares is unique bush recipes with the public on his blog, making the dining experience both intimate and interactive.
