Staying at Tongabezi
Rooms at Tongabezi are beautifully individual and private, made up of the Bird House, Tree House, Dog House, Nut House, River Cottages, Garden House and the Honeymoon Suite. The rooms are exceptionally romantic and intimate, making it a wonderful honeymoon destination.
All rooms at Tongabezi are open fronted, except the River Cottages – guests who would prefer not to sleep in such openness are catered for with these cottages, which also feature gauze netting to keep insects out.
The Dog House is fantastic for families and friends traveling together, with 3 interconnecting decks, while the Tree House rests against a large Ebony tree. Families will also love the Garden House, with its own garden and plunge pool.
Common Areas
The Lookout is a perfect evening chill zone – comfortable couches and space for dining look out onto the still Zambezi.
Activities in the area are numerous. Canoeing, island lunches, floating candlelit dinners, sunrise and sunset boat trips, guided bush walks and of course visits to Victoria Falls are among the many great outings offered by Tongabezi.
