South African Conservation Safari Experience

Day 1 – 3:

Upon arrival in Cape Town International Airport you will have a meet and greet, and then transferred by your driver to More Quarters boutique hotel close to central Cape Town. More Quarters is a five-star hotel with luxurious rooms is light and airy and offers exceptional service. You will stay in a luxury room which also has a lounge and kitchen so is an apartment style. We have chosen this property as it is in the heart of the suburb of Gardens and is a short distance from the V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay and the popular destinations.

On day three you will enjoy a private half day city tour followed by a private picnic lunch stop for a sumptuous picnic lunch.

Included in your stay is the three nights’ accommodation with breakfast, half day Cape Town city tour with a private vehicle and professional guide

Day 4 & 5:

After a delicious breakfast, you will be collected by your driver for your 45-minute drive to the heart of the famous Cape Winelands to Babylonstoren which is on situated on a working fruit and vegetable farm and surrounded by many of the famous and popular wine farms. You will stay in the Farm Hotel rooms and have an authentic farm stay experience. There are so many activities you will enjoy during your stay  – afternoon drive, fly fishing, a private guided garden tour, and farm walk, bread baking with bakers, cellar tour and wine tasting, cycling and canoeing/rowing on the farm dam.  Guest have full access to the garden at all times. We also suggest you let us pre-book any meals at the famous Babel Restaurant.

Included is also a unique Healing Garden tour and tea ritual which is a quiet space, where you can blend herbal teas with the in-house gardener and enjoy a selection of savoury and sweet confections.

Day 6 – 8:

After your Babylonstoren breakfast, you will have a private transfer back to Cape Town airport and then take a flight to the province of Kwa-Zulu to the town of Richards Bay in Zululand. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and have a transfer to the Lake Jozini area, in the northern part of Zululand for your check into the lodge called White Elephant Safari Lodge for the start of your conservation safari.

This luxurious tented lodge is a special destination which is passionate about conservation and you will experience Black Rhino tracking, as well as participate in Elephant research activities and normal game drives, educational bush walks, tiger fishing, guided elephanting, canoeing and boat cruises on Lake Jozini. This is a truly South African safari experience.

Day 9:

After your conservation early morning activity and brunch, you will check out and be collected by your driver for your transfer back to Richards Bay Airport for your onward flight and journey.
