Day 1-7: Waterfront Village – Cape Town
On arrival at OR Thambo International Airport (Johannesburg) you will collect your luggage and make your way to the Domestic Departures Terminal where you will check-in at the South African Airways counter for your short flight to Cape Town.
From the airport, you will take a drive to Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront. Here you will be staying at The Waterfront Marina, an apartment complex next to the harbor. The Waterfront Marina is the perfect base to explore Cape Town city center and its surroundings.
The apartments are very luxurious and although self-catered we can arrange for breakfast to be delivered to you. However, you are a short walk from the V&A Waterfront where you will find a choice of the best restaurants and cafés in Cape Town.
From the V&A Waterfront, you can catch the Hop-on-Hop-off buses that tour the city and stop at Table Mountain. The ferries to Robben Island also depart from the V&A Waterfront.

Located near the city center, and close to many major tourist attractions. Apartments have sweeping sea views, large en-suite main bedrooms, a second bedroom, and often a third bedroom or study.
Day 7-8 – De Bergkant Lodge – Prince Albert
On day seven you will pack your car for a little road-trip to one of the quaintest little towns tucked away at the foot of the massive Swartberg Mountains, a short way away from “The Hell,” which despite its name is one of the most beautiful unspoiled valleys in the Karoo. You will be staying at De Bergkant Lodge, a classic style Cape Dutch home, built in the mid -1800s by the famous architect Carel Lotz as a wedding present for his daughter Petronella.
There are eight rooms all en-suite with “much talked about” bathrooms, and uniquely decorated with antiques that the owner has collected throughout the years. There is a lovely swimming pool in a peaceful garden, where guests can enjoy and relax with a nice glass of wine. Prince Albert is an ideal place to get away from it all.
Day 8-11 – Milkwood Manor – Plettenberg Bay
Today you will carry on with your journey heading on towards the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. Milkwood Manor is perfectly located and beautifully appointed, within walking distance of the town center. There is plenty to do in Plettenberg Bay, and Milkwood Manor is your ideal gateway to this world of luxury and natural scenic beauty.
This beautiful guest house offers great comfort and pleasant service. The rooms at Milkwood Manor are also spacious and comfortable, and there is also a restaurant where guests can have lunch and dinner right on the ocean.
Day 11-12: Ibhayi Guest Lodge – Port Elizabeth
After a wonderful three days in Plettenberg Bay, You will be traveling on to Ibhayi Guest Lodge in Port Elizabeth. This is a luxury guesthouse. It offers seclusion and luxury but is within easy walking distance of most of Walmer’s attractions, and a short drive to anything else of interest in Port Elizabeth. From the outside you’d hardly believe what lies inside Ibhayi Guest Lodge – the serene atmosphere and green, leafy decoration makes you feel like you are in a tropical lodge on an island somewhere, without another soul around.
Day 12-16: Kambaku Safari Lodge – Timbavati
You will drive the approximate 10 minutes to the airport and drop off the car rental before you check in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg O R Tambo, you will collect your luggage and make your way to the Domestic Departures Terminal for the connecting flight to Hoedspruit. Flight time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
On arrival in Hoedspruit, a driver will be waiting for you. He will transfer you to Kambaku about 1 hours’ drive. A great part of the drive is done in the Game Reserve where you can get a chance to encounter some of the animals.

Day 16 – Transfer from Kambaku to Head Home.
After breakfast and your final early morning game drive, you will be picked up at the lodge and driven back to Hoedspruit airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg. You will be heading home rejuvenated after a wonderful holiday and unforgettable memories of a lifetime experience.
