Sun City, Cape Town & Safari

Day 1 – 3:

When you are in Johannesburg at the OR Tambo International Airport, you will be collected by your driver and transferred 2 hours by road to the famous Sun City. There are four hotels at Sun City, and Soho Hotel which is where you will be staying is in the middle of the four hotels.  Soho Hotel is very central and was the first hotel to be built on the resort and overlooks a golf course and has a Spa on site as well. It used to be called Sun City Main Hotel but recently changed names. You can experience the many activities and facilities on offer to keep you as busy as you want to be or to relax at one of the many swimming pools or on the beach at the Valley of the Waves.

Included in your stay is the entrance to the Valley of the Waves, breakfast at the hotel and on day two you will have a 1-hour quad biking experience as well into a surrounding nature reserve, perfect for the entire family.

Day 4 – 7:

After a delicious buffet breakfast, you will be collected by your driver and drive back to Johannesburg to the airport and then take a 2-hour flight to Cape Town to the airport. Upon arrival, be collected and transferred to your hotel for the next four nights called Radisson Blu Waterfront. We have chosen this as it is located right next to the Waterfront and has amazing views of the Bay and out to sea and there is nothing better than sitting on the huge wooden deck or lazing by the swimming pool. We highly recommend their Saturday or Sunday brunch.

Included is a half day Cape Town city tour where you will go to the bottom of Table Mountain as well and then a 4-night stay in the hotel with breakfast

Day 8 – 10:

After checkout, your driver will transfer you back to the airport in Cape Town and you will have a 2-hour flight to Hoedspruit in the safari area in the north eastern part of South Africa close to Kruger National Park. You have check into your safari lodge for 3 nights called AM Lodge, this 5* star lodge is relatively new but is already an award-winning luxury safari lodge in South Africa and your stay also includes a complimentary Spa voucher to the value of R500 per adult, per stay. There is also a selection of beverages including local beers, AM Lodge house wines, soft drinks, mineral waters, teas, and coffees to enjoy while at the lodge which is included. This is an African experience for all ages and offers luxury and style.

Included in your activities is twice daily open safaris game drives, walking safaris and star gazing. Then to make this trip even more memorable, you will have a 1 hour Hot Air Balloon on your last day. As the sun rises over the African horizon you will experience the magic of air flight over the escarpment, what an experience!

Day 11:

After your morning game drive, you will check out and take the short transfer back to the Hoedspruit airport and then take a flight to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg for the end of the memorable trip.
