Day 1 to 5 – Claredon Bantry Bay in Cape Town
When arriving in sunny South Africa, you will fly directly to Cape Town International Airport, the gateway to the Mother City. Here you will collect a car from the Rental Group C for a total of nine nights, giving you the complete freedom to explore the wonders of the city and the surrounding Winelands to your heart’s content. You will check into the boutique hotel, the Clarendon Bantry Bay, for a total of four nights. The house is perched above the blue waters with views over the entire bay.
The Clarendon Bantry Bay is just a short drive, or a fifteen-minute walk, away from Clifton and Camps Bay beaches. Days 5 to 8 – Majeka House in Stellenbosch
After four indulgent nights at the Clarendon Bantry, you and your partner will take but a short trip to the heart of the Cape Winelands. Stellenbosch is cradled by blue-mountains and vineyards that simply dazzle in the sunlight. Understated luxury and tranquil gardens await you at Majeka House, your base for the next four nights as you explore and sample to culinary wonders of this region. The prime yet the intimate location is a mere five-minute drive from the historic city center with easy access to surrounding beaches.
Days 8 to 10 – Birkenhead House in Hermanus
The quaint coastal town of Hermanus is your next stop, where Birkenhead House will leave you relaxed and revitalized. With a laidback ambiance and easygoing lifestyle, relaxation is the order of the day. The cliff top position makes it the perfect location to end the day with a sundowner in hand as you watch the whales frolic in the clear waters below.
Days 10 to 14 – Motswari Lodge in Timbavati Game Reserve
You will leave after an early breakfast and take the short trip back to Cape Town International Airport. It is time bid Cape Town farewell as you board the plane the Hoedspruit for the wild north-eastern region of the country. From Hoedspruit, we will transfer you to the Timbavati Game Reserve. Motswari Lodge promises an authentic African safari experience where you will spend four nights in complete comfort and indulgence.
Motswari plays home to the fabled Big Five but hides a very rare and very elusive creature that few people will ever have the pleasure to encounter. The blue-eyed white lions from the Timbavati freely roam these lands.
Day 14 – Fly to Johannesburg International Airport
After breakfast, we will collect you from your lodge and transfer you back to Hoedspruit, where you will board your final flight back to Johannesburg International for your trip back home.
